PROCESS OF BOOKING A PORTRAIT

To order a customised portrait click the “Contact me” button and get in touch.  I would love to hear any ideas you have for your portrait however creative they may be! 

The portrait prices can be found below. 

I will need photo references of the subject you want me to draw. If you would like me to draw multiple subjects, it would be preferable if individuals are standing roughly at equal height and at even distances from the camera. High quality, detailed photos are preferable to make the portrait more realistic. 

If you do not have photos like these, it may be worth taking new ones as that will look best in a portrait. Though, if that is not a possibility you can send me what you have and I will find a way to work with the photos you provide.

An upfront deposit totaling half of the total commission sum is necessary for booking your portrait. This is non-refundable as I begin working on a portrait immediately. After that, I will send you a draft of your portrait to show how the original will look. When you have approved the draft I will begin the original. The remaining balance will be paid once the work has been complete, before it is dispatched. I accept payment via Bank Transfer, PayPal or cash where possible. 

When we have confirmed the desired draft I will begin working on the original. Your portrait should be finished within two weeks. The exact time frame will depend on the complexity of the piece and number of subjects. During the creation of the original I will be in touch sending weekly updates. 

After confirmation that you are happy with your portrait I will proceed to ship or deliver it.  Framing and shipping within the UK and USA is included in the price. Where possible, for nearby clients I deliver the portrait myself to ensure it arrives safely. Alternatively, I ship the portraits, packaged extremely well. Your portrait will have its own tracking number.
